CHRISTIAN UNGE (b. 1972) has been writing, mostly poetry, since his early 20s. With his experiences from working as a medical doctor and doing research in Africa for Doctor’s without borders (MSF) Christian writes fiction stories about the surgeon Martin Roeykens which takes places in Africa and Europe. His first novel, Turkanarapporten (The Turkana Files), was self-published and has sold more than 26,000 copies. Kongospår (Echoes of the Congo) and Saharasyndromet (The Sahara Syndrome) are the two following books in the Africa Triology. 


Christian has a wife and three children. On his free-time he is the creator of the popular podcast ”Ronden” on medicin with more than 40,000 listeners.
