CHRISTIAN UNGE (b. 1972) has been writing, mostly poetry, since his early 20s. With his experiences from working as a medical doctor and doing research in Africa for Doctor’s without borders (MSF) Christian writes fiction stories about the surgeon Martin Roeykens which takes places in Africa and Europe. His first novel, Turkanarapporten (The Turkana Files), was self-published and has sold more than 26,000 copies. The second book is called Kongospår (Echoes of the Congo). Saharasyndromet (The Sahara Syndrome) will be released spring, 2016.


Christian has a wife and three children. On his free-time he is the creator of the popular podcast ”Ronden” on medicin with more than 10,000 listeners.
